JAMES BLUNDELL COMING TO THE BANANA SHIRE
Banana Shire Council will welcome country music legend James Blundell to the Banana Shire on the 14th & 15th of July. James is one of Australia’s most iconic country singer songwriters, and is this year celebrating 30 years in music.
James’ fourteenth album release, “Campfire”, was launched at the Tamworth Country Music Festival on Australia Day 2017.
A lot of planning and effort has gone into being able to secure such a big-name artist to perform in the Banana Shire for this great event.
James was the first young Australian country singer to sign a major record deal in Nashville. James is a country music icon who paved the way for the likes of Keith Urban and Casey Chambers.
These are all ages’ events. Drinks and food will be available for purchase. Tickets can be purchased at Eventbrite for $35 per person.
Taroom – Taroom Town Hall – Friday 14 July 2017, 7:00 pm
