The publication provides information about social, demographic and economic activity in Banana Shire. Where possible, these data have been converted to an ASGC 2008 basis (reformed local government area) using a population based concordance developed by the Planning Information and Forecasting Unit (Queensland Department of Infrastructure and Planning). As such, unless otherwise stated, data are reported for the reformed Banana Shire are based on the ASGC 2008.
