AERODROMES

There are five aerodromes within the Banana Shire. 

Both the Taroom and Thangool Aerodromes are certified with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority and provide frequent chartered flights. The Thangool Aerodrome also accommodates regular commercial flights through Fly Corporate, providing a service six (6) days a week.

Council's aim is to ensure the safety and comfort of all private and commercial aircraft operators and passengers.

Aerodromes Conditions of Use

AIRCRAFT FUEL AIRCRAFT FUEL

FUEL AVAILABLE AT THANGOOL AERODROME

Avgas and Jet A-1 Fuel available at Thangool Aerodrome.  

For all fuel and accounts enquiries, please contact Airfuel Townsville directly on 0409 893 910.  Please note that for refueling, 24 hours’ notice is required.  Payment by credit card.  Call out fees apply for after hours, weekends and public holidays.
