Public Notice - Proposed new street name

Banana Shire Council is undertaking public consultation regarding the proposed naming of a new road within the new industrial area in Biloela.

Location: Road between Exhibition Avenue, Biloela and Callistemon Street, Biloela
Proposed Name: Rathjen Street

In accordance with Council’s Naming of Council Assets and Public Places Policy and relevant guidelines, the proposed street name is required to be publicly advertised to allow community members an opportunity to provide comment.

Members of the public are invited to make written submissions.
All submissions must be received by 5 pm on 2 April 2026.
