Exhibit at the Gallery
Exhibition Proposals
The Banana Shire Regional Art Gallery accepts exhibition proposals year round. We encourage exhibitions by established artists, emerging artists, and group exhibitions.
Exhibitions are generally scheduled for a period of seven to nine weeks. The annual program may be scheduled up to two years in advance and bookings are subject to availability. We recommend contacting us in the initial stages of your planning to discuss your ideas further. Gallery staff offer curatorial assistance if required.
The gallery has two exhibition spaces:
Selection Criteria
Proposals are assessed according to the following selection criteria:

- The exhibition adds to a well-balanced schedule (accounting for medium, subject matter and/or artist representation)
- The exhibition engages new or diverse audience

| New Works and Originality |
- The exhibition approaches concepts and/or materials in an original and interesting way
- The exhibition includes artworks that have not previously been publicly exhibited

The Banana Shire Regional Art Gallery is hired to artists for the fees outlined in the 2025-2026 Fees and Charges(PDF, 4MB)
