Banana Shire Council has launched its 2025 Investment Prospectus, providing a strategic roadmap for economic growth, business expansion, and job creation across the region. The prospectus highlights significant investment opportunities across key industries, including resource recovery, renewable energy, manufacturing, and agriculture.
Mayor Nev Ferrier said the Investment Prospectus reflects the Shire’s strong economic foundation and potential for future growth. "Banana Shire has long been a hub for agriculture, mining, and energy, but we’re now seeing increased investment in renewables, advanced manufacturing, and industrial expansion," Mayor Ferrier said, “This means more jobs, more business opportunities, and a stronger economy for locals.”
