Fireworks Display Notification

Residents are advised that a fireworks display will take place on Saturday, 18 July 2026 at 7.30pm at 11 Exhibition Avenue, Biloela.

While fireworks can be a fun spectacle, they can also be distressing for pets and livestock. To help keep your animals safe and calm, consider the following:

  • Bring pets indoors before the display begins
  • Ensure pets have access to a secure, quiet area
  • Close windows, curtains and doors to help reduce noise and flashes of light
  • Check that identification tags and microchip details are current in case your pet becomes frightened and escapes
  • Provide familiar bedding, toys or music to help comfort anxious animals
