Banana Shire Council advises that floodway upgrade works on Theodore Moura Road, north of the Nipan Road intersection, are scheduled to commence on Monday 14 September 2026 and continue until late November 2026 (weather permitting).
Traffic will be reduced to a single lane, with traffic lights and a temporary sidetrack in place during the works. Access to the construction site will be restricted to authorised personnel only. Please follow all signage and traffic directions for your safety.
