The Banana Shire Regional Art Gallery is pleased to announce that tickets are now on sale for the 2026 Brigalow Arts Festival, celebrating 30 years of artistic excellence, creativity and community connection.

The Brigalow Arts Festival is one of Banana Shire's most anticipated annual cultural events, bringing together artists, art enthusiasts and the wider community in a celebration of creativity and artistic expression. Celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2026, the festival continues to showcase a diverse range of artistic talent while providing opportunities for artists of all experience levels to exhibit their work and connect with audiences.

Banana Shire Mayor Nev Ferrier said this year's festival marks a significant milestone for the community.

"The Brigalow Arts Festival has flourished for three decades thanks to the dedication of our talented local artists, the generous support of our sponsors and the tireless commitment of our volunteers," Mayor Ferrier said.

"For 30 years, the festival has provided opportunities for artists of all experience levels to showcase their work while encouraging our community to connect with and celebrate the arts."

The festival welcomes everyone from established artists and emerging creatives to local community members exhibiting their work for the very first time, making it a truly inclusive celebration of artistic expression.

The 2026 exhibition will be on display at the Banana Shire Regional Art Gallery from 16 October to 11 December 2026, featuring works across painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, sculpture, textiles, decorative arts and digital media.

This year's exhibition has attracted 107 artists and 166 entries from more than 35 towns and suburbs across Queensland and interstate, highlighting the growing reputation and reach of the Brigalow Arts Festival as it celebrates its 30th anniversary.
