Youth Study to Influence Future Policy and Projects

Published: 17th December 2018

This place I call home captures the voices of more than 7000 children and young people aged 4-18 years.

It provides a 'snapshot' of Queensland's youngest citizens at one point in time, building a youth evidence base that provides valuable information to support Queensland's priority areas.

To learn about what children and young people have to say about growing up in Queensland in 2018, check out the full report. https://bit.ly/2Pz4WcR From this report the Queensland Family and Child Commission plan to:

• Use the findings of this report to inform the ongoing policy, advocacy and community education work of the QFCC.

• Their Youth Advisory Council will investigate youth-led projects directly linked to key findings from the project.

• They will continue to engage in partnerships with service providers, policy makers and government to take action on the issues raised in this report.
