Banana Shire Council are hosting an ‘Aussie Helpers Hay Day’ in Biloela on Saturday 21 September at the Biloela Showgrounds as a gesture to support our community members struggling from the ongoing drought. Further details on the event will be made public in the coming weeks.

Landholders are being asked to complete and submit the attached Request for Assistance form for consideration by Aussie Helpers. Assistance will be provided on a needs basis however there is no guarantee that all requests will be able to be met. All requests for assistance need to be formally recorded via this form to meet the administrative requirements of Aussie Helpers.

Council are asking for your assistance in distributing the attached form to any landholders within the Shire. The information provided will be treated as strictly confidential and will not be released publicly however there will be media at the event.

Forms need to be returned to Council by midday Friday 6 September. Details for where completed forms can be returned to are on the bottom of the form.
