Temporary water transfer available from Dawson River

Council currently has a quantity of water allocation available for temporary transfer in the Dawson Valley during the current water year (ending 30 September 2019).

Approcximate total of 300Ml is available for temporary transfer - 150ML (Glebe Weir to Upstream limit Neville Hewitt Weir) - 150Ml (Neville Hewitt Weir to the end of system)

Accordingly, Council invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) for temporary transfer of all or part of these available amounts.

Council will consider offers that are the most advantageous to the Council, but reserve the right to not necessarily accept all or any particular offer/s.

All costs are to be met by those seeking the temporary transfer/s.

EOI’s close on Friday 20 September, 2019 at 5pm  and may be emailed, hand delivered or posted to be received at the Council’s Administration Office in Biloela by the nominated closing date.

EOI’s should:- Be marked for the attention of the Chief Executive Officer; Be Titled “EOI - Temporary Water Transfer - Dawson Valley Scheme 2019; and contain details of the quantity of water sought (in ML) and price offered to Council per ML for the temporary transfer amount.
