Introducing the Banana Shire Pound Facility

The Banana Shire Pound is a well-maintained facility that prioritises the care and well-being of animals. The new facility features ten dual-sided dog cages that can be divided if needed. This allows the dogs to enjoy the outdoors while still feeling safe and protected.

The cat area includes eight cages each with designated toileting areas and a big play area, just for them. We also have three fun dog-run play areas for exercise and stimulation, as well as insulation to keep the building comfortable all year round.

For your convenience, there are two public drop cages located at the front of the facility for after-hours drop-offs. 

The team at Banana Shire Council are dedicated to ensuring the health and safety of all of the pets in our care with various disease and parasite management features to ensure a safe and clean environment for all animals.
