As Anzac Day approaches on Tuesday 25th April, the Banana Shire community is preparing to pay their respects to the brave men and women who fought and died for their country.  Anzac Day is a day of remembrance, to honour the sacrifices of those soldiers who served our country, and particularly those from our Shire.

The following services will be conducted on Tuesday 25th April 2023 to commemorate Anzac Day

Biloela Dawn Service –

• Service commences 04:10am Assemble at Biloela RSL Park 4:00am
• Service is followed by a Gunfire Breakfast

Biloela Service

• March commences 9:30am
• Service held at Biloela RSL Anzac Memorial Park 10.00 AM
• Marchers to assemble at Melton St Park, Grevillea St Biloela at 9:00am

Thangool Service –

• March commences 11:00am
• Marchers to assemble at Ramsay Street, Thangool

Wowan

• Dawn Service - 5.30am will be held at the Cenotaph (RSL Hall )
• Morning Service - 11am Assemble at 10.50am at the QAS to march around to the Cenotaph (RSL Hall) for the outdoor service. This will be followed by the service inside the hall.

Baralaba

• Dawn Service at the Cenotaph
• 10am March from Cenotaph

Moura

• Dawn Service
• March & Morning Service at 10am

Theodore

• 6am Dawn Service
• Service is followed by a Gunfire breakfast
• 10.30am March
• 11am Main service
