Woorabinda Aboriginal Shire Council Job Vacancies. 

Three new senior manager positions are currently available:

• Infrastructure and Utilities Manager
• Strategic Governance Manager
• Community Services Manager

These roles will lead small teams and work closely with the Mayor, CEO and wider senior management team to continue a path of growth and innovation across the Council and wider service delivery to community.

• 2 hours West of Rockhampton

Woorabinda is situated on the traditional lands of the Wadja (Wad-ja) and Gungaloo (Gun-ga-loo) Aboriginal peoples, approximately 2 hours driving distance West of Rockhampton. Woorabinda residents speak English with some speaking both English and an Aboriginal language. There are approximately 52 clans represented in Woorabinda, with a vast number of language groups from across Queensland.

Protecting country and maintaining a strong identity, Woorabinda Aboriginal Shire Council works with local service providers, State and Federal Government to ensure community is supported.
