What plans can you make to ease the burden?

Most people do not discuss their death or their funeral arrangements, which creates a void for family who are left with the duty of trying to guess what our beloved deceased wishes may have been.

Below is a list of items to consider so that your family are able to carry out your wishes after you are gone.

Burial or cremation?

Church or graveside?

Family only or public service?

Flowers or donations?

A formal wake or family at home?

If burial:

     Have you reserved a plot?

     Which cemetery?

     Lawn or general (monumental) grave?

If cremation, where are the ashes to be stored?

     At home?

     Scattered? Where and/or how?

     Placed in a family grave?

     Cemetery ashes area - rose or rock gardens, columbarium or memorial wall?

What form of permanent memorial should there be?
