Art Mix is an annual exhibition showcasing excellence in visual arts, craft and design by students from across the Banana Shire.

Banana Shire Council is proud to host the Art Mix Awards which supports and encourages local school students by providing $1300 in prizes of art materials.

2019 GUEST JUDGE: AINSLIE MCMAHON

Ainslie McMahon is an award winning visual artist based in Rockhampton. Her work responds to local landscapes and the natural environment, capturing the distinct character of Central Queensland. In 2018 Ainslie won the coveted $15,000 Rio Tinto Martin Hanson Memorial Art Award at Gladstone Regional Art Gallery and Museum.
