A Morning in the Garden is a special event hosted outdoors in the Banana Shire Regional Art Gallery garden to celebrate the opening of Veronika Zeil’s solo exhibition Once Upon a Forest: The Eloquence of Trees. This exhibition explores the fascinating ability of trees to communicate and interact on levels we are only just beginning to understand. Come along to the gallery for a relaxing morning with live music, conversation, art, a cuppa, and a plant swap event.

Plant Swap

Meet some fellow plant lovers and add to your collection by swapping some treasures from your garden.

Guidelines:

1. Bring along any plants and/or cuttings you are willing to trade
2. Bring one or a few, it’s up to you! Participants will swap for an equal amount to what they have contributed
3. Contributions should be healthy and pest/disease free
4. Label your plant (if you know the name)
5. Like will be traded for like (plant for plant, cutting for cutting)
6. Have fun!
